We only use industry-approved materials with high quality requirements for both the visible and hidden parts of the frame. With acid-free and age-resistant passe-partout, protective backing and adhesive strips that keep out dust, your art will not yellow and age, but will instead last for a long time to come.
In the framework workshop, we will go through together how you want to highlight your art, we will make suggestions and see what suits you and the art. You will be given the time you need.

We offer the following services in the framework workshop
- Framing of paper art : watercolor, lithographs, drawings, photography, graphics, pastels, posters, diplomas, drawings and more.
- Framing of paintings on canvas , panel. Ready-stretched or not.
- Framing of textiles. We frame embroidery, fabrics & silk paintings.
- Ordering of strong wedge frames, custom-made in the highest quality that will not bend, for your canvases & photo canvases, whether you want to stretch them yourself or if we do it.
- Custom-made passepartout in your own sizes. We have hundreds of variations in a selection of colors, thicknesses & qualities to suit your framing or your existing frame.
- We cut passepartout with decorative cuts or multiple cutouts/windows in the same sheet for memorial plaques, photography and art.
- Stretching of your canvas , painted, unpainted or a printed photo canvas.
- Framing mirrors for your home. Design your own mirror, choose your frame!
- TV framing! Making a decorative frame for your flat screen TV.
- Object framing , the framing of keepsakes, is also called box or object framing.
- We replace broken glass and yellowed mounts on framed art so it is acid-free and durable for a long time. Maybe a new color for your mount

In the online store you can order passepartout in a large selection of sizes with custom-made openings according to your wishes for your art. You will also find art and artistic interior design by artist Tess Enarsson.
Art gallery
Both in the frame workshop and in the online store you can buy art by artist Tess Enarsson. We display and sell her original art in oil, watercolor and drawing as well as graphic numbered and signed prints in limited editions both as loose sheets and framed.
In the frame workshop, you can choose which frame and passepartout suits you for the graphic sheets, and we will frame according to your wishes.
The online store displays a selection of art. The workshop also displays original art by Tess Enarsson, which can only be purchased in-store. Read more about Tess' art here...
Frames - framing & custom-made
Our range of frame samples in the frame workshop are selected by us to provide a varying breadth of taste and preference but also to suit many different types of artistic expression. In the frame workshop there are 400 different frame sample samples to choose from.
We have chosen to focus on quality moldings, where a large part of our molding samples are manufactured in the Nordics of the highest quality from dense pine that does not warp. We also sell European quality brands with an exciting selection of design, weight and playfulness.
If we need to order a frame, we can have it delivered the same week depending on your choice. Some special ones can take up to several weeks. Please let us know in good time if you have special requests.
Bring your art with you to your visit and we will look at the molding samples we have. If you have a request or vision for a molding that we do not have molding samples for, we can order samples for you after we have found the right one together.
Passe-partout /Mountboard
In the online store we offer a wide range of passepartout sizes where you can customize your opening to your own measurements. You can also enter your wishes for how high up you want the cutting to start.
What is a passepartout?
Passepartout (also called mountboard) is a sturdy cardboard that is cut to the same size as the frame with an opening for the art at a 45 degree angle. Placed over the paper art so that the work does not touch the glass while providing a calm and prominent eye-catcher. All our passepartout is acid-free with good quality so the passepartout cardboard or the work does not yellow.
If you want to frame your own or display unframed art, you can order a custom-made passepartout. We have a large selection of passepartout in different qualities, colors, textures and patterns. You can get a cut decorative border and multiple window openings for your art, photographs and plaques. See our inspiration gallery.
If you have a standard frame where the art doesn't fit in the dimensions, then a passepartout is a great help.

Glass - picture glass or Artglass?
The most common glass for framing is 2 mm thick and is popularly called picture glass or float glass. Picture glass does not have much protection against UV light, which can destroy the art if it is hung by a window and in a light source. Picture glass also reflects its surroundings with light depending on where the viewer is standing and what light sources are nearby.
Artglass - non-reflective art glass
Artglass is English for 'art glass' and is a non-reflective glass that is also UV-resistant to varying degrees. We always have art glass that is 70% UV-resistant in stock. The glass prevents the art from being damaged by incoming light in the same way, so the art is more age-resistant and does not fade.
The non-reflective glass gives the art a different depth. The art looks unadorned because the glass barely gives off any reflection. It's a fantastic difference, to the point that you want to feel with your finger to really experience if there is any glass there!
