We found it difficult to find linen panels in Sweden and also in Europe, so we have now had these panels manufactured in the best linen quality under our own brand.

Linen canvas panel - classic, masterful, and environmentally friendly

Our linen canvas panels are oil-primed three times, acid-free, and archival for oil painting. They have a beautiful linen texture with a fine grain, 350 grams per square meter (gsm). Excellent for detailed painting as well as portrait painting, landscapes, and still life.

Panels are practical to handle, easy to store in your own storage or as paintings. They take up little space compared to a stretched canvas and are environmentally friendly compared to cotton.

The panel consists of a 3 mm covered MDF board. Labelled on the back with the possibility for the artist to fill in name, title, year, and more.

Framing of panels and canvas

When it comes to framing, the panel only requires a shallow depth in the frame. Paintings are traditionally framed without glass. If you want to frame your own panels or stretched canvases, we have carefully selected frames ready to order in the webshop. If you have requests for other frames or sizes, there are approximately 450 frame molding samples in our frame workshop to choose from. We manufacture according to your wishes.

Choose the environmentally friendly option - linen panel

Linen fabric, made from the stalks of the flax plant (Linum), is grown with less environmental impact; it tolerates more drought, does not require insect control or artificial fertilizers like cotton does. Unlike linen, cotton requires enormous amounts of water and intensive care, and it is often bleached. Linen provides a vibrant and beautiful surface in a durable and traditional natural material.
