Lars Lerin's art exhibition in Stockholm

During the exhibition's penultimate day, March 6, Enköping Konst & Ram visited Lars Lerin's exhibition at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm in airy and open premises.

The exhibition featured works of contemporary social motifs, barren landscapes with abandoned wooden houses, the fishing industry with settings of Lofoten, and sandy Egypt. The latter from an inspiring old photo album with small pictures from a bygone era.

Many of the large works span two sheets. They are painted on watercolor paper so thick that they can be nailed directly to the wall without framing.

Lerin's fantastic play with light in the surrounding darkness is not only a delight for the eye but also captures the viewer.

Thank you for this time!
